Biological Literature
Scientific Writing (Bio -2303) is a course that examines the basic principles needed to write successful manuscripts and grant proposals. The blind folded predator was presented with different number of squares at each tabletop. The predator was given one minute to find prey from each specific table top. The group predicted, as the population increased, the rate at finding prey increased.
In scientific writing we were also assigned an annoted bibliography assignment that help us cite properly.
Investigation & Research (Bio-2277) we analyzed a journal article named Effects on Adipogenesis and Osteogenesis in Vitro. Environmental Health Perspectives. About the The use of alternative flame retardants has increased since the phase out of pentabromodiphenyl ethers (pentaBDEs).We learned how to find information quickly from journal articles.
Immunology: In this course we discussed different types of immunological states where the immune system produces harmful responses upon reexposure to sensitising antigens.
