​Dr. Karen M. Roseboro is an instructional superintendent that spoke to the class. She discussed the importance and need of science teachers. She talked about the school district and the poverty levels. She gave us the steps of becoming successful in the "teaching world."

Dr. Nickkholgh talked about cancer and prostate cancer and her seminar also consisted of the process of photosynthesis.
Neuro Control of blood pressure
Dr. Logan talked about hypertension and how it leads to death. He explained how he started his research and what guided him in this direction. He talked abut risk factors and the importance of regulating your blood pressure.
Pharmacy Is Right for Me
Guest speaker Dr. Charmaine Rozanov is a Rite Aid Corporation Pharmacist that came to speak to us about becoming a pharmacist and different routes that can be taken. It was very helpful because my goal is to one day become a pharmacy.
The Oregon Police Department Forensic Laboratory
They came to WSSU to recruit science majors to be apart of their team by showing videos and sharing personal story to help us find interest in becoming a forensic scientist. They offered jobs and summer internships opportunities.
